S-24     ***NEW RELEASE FOR JULY 2014***
Glow Worm
by Orchestra

2 minute indestructible copy.  A bit more surface noise than we would have liked, but a really nice selection...and what song would be more appropriate for a 'glow in the dark' record?

S-23     ***NEW RELEASE FOR JUNE 2014***
Come Josephine in my Flying Machine
by Ada Jones & Billy Murray

Popular & hard to find selection.  Originally released in 1911 on 4-minute wax, it was re-issued in 1913 on Blue Amberol.   We searched for years before we found a copy we felt was good enough to duplicate.  You will not be disappointed!

S-22     ***NEW RELEASE FOR JUNE 2014***
JUBILEE MINSTRELS
by Steve Porter, Byron Harlan & Billy Murray

2-minute Gold Moulded copy
.  Standard minstrel selection: opening chorus, some jokes & closing chorus (I love when the band plays Dixie).

S-21     ***NEW RELEASE FOR JULY 2013***
If You Knew What I Know Says The Moon
by Ada Jone

Something a little different.  Veiled references to infidelity and promiscuity.  Not something one would expect to hear from a 1914 recording.

S-18
Benny Be Yourself
by Green Bros. Novelty Band

A really up-beat selection and a great copy of a late acoustic era recording.  Originally released in 1923. New mold made from an original copy of Blue Amberol 4774.  Overall a really good copy with minimal surface noise.   Typical blue amberol 'bounce' but plays wonderfully!

S-17     ***NEW***
That's What The Animals Do
by Billy Jones & Ernest Hare (The Happiness Boys)

This selection was never recorded for release by Jones & Hare.  Our cylinder record is dubbed from a radio transcription disc discovered by Kurt Nauck of Nauck's Vintage Records (www.78rpm.com).

The broadcast is believed to be from 1934, when the duo were sponsored by the Taystee Bread Company.

In 1930 they made their last official recording together on the Victor label.

MYSTERIOUS MOSE
From an unreleased Hit Of The Week recording.
Due to issues with the mold only 10 copies of this record will be available for purchase. The master we made for this one has a fair amount of surface noise (crackle).  Please listen to the video below before purchasing.

About Edisonia Records...

XP Series
records are made for us by Vulcan Records from new masters and are typically limited releases.

Sapphire Series records are made in our own shop from new molds, made either from new masters or from good examples of existing records.

Molds made from existing records will have the same blemishes as existed on the original example used as our master.  While we go to great lengths to find the best possible copy to start with, it must be understood that there may be some minor tics and clicks as would be expected from records that are 90+ years old.  Records duplicated from Blue Amberol & other celluloid records will have minor eccentricities as few examples are to be found that are still perfectly round.

All of our records are made from durable, long lasting resins and can be played using any of the appropriate Edison or Columbia reproducers.  4-minute records may be used with any 4-minute reproducers including the Edison Diamond A/B/C reproducers.
